Feathers è il quarto album della band.Album con sonorita' ancor piu' psichedeliche.In questo disco si possono sentire anche sonorita' piu' stoner e piu' down-tempo.Traccia sorpresa del disco è Through the Gales of the Sleepy Silver Door,un rifacimento di sleepy silver door improvvisata e ancora piu' lunga.Questo disco è stato un grande passo avanti per la band.

Primo album per i dead meadow molto affascinante.Melodie psichedeliche con parti stoner,un disco molto anni 70.Tutto il disco sembra come un trip,un viaggio in chissa' quale posto.Melodie dilatate dal wah wah del chitarrista e con basso e batteria che sembrano dare il cuore al tutto.Destinato a diventare una perla del gruppo.

Gruppo di washigton formatosi nel 1998.Il loro genere è uno stoner psichedelico molto influenzato dagli anni 70,da come si puo' sentire dalla loro musica.Riff stoner azzecati e wah wah ipnotizzante.Una delle band importanti nel genere anche per il sound che sono riusciti a crearsi molto originale.
